"Makes managing siblings much easier"
This has actually made things a lot easier with my kids, especially when dealing with siblings. It helps keep the usual arguing and confusion avoidable, which I really appreciate.

"Good overall, but a little click-heavy"
Am I the only one who feels like this works fine most of the time, but finding certain things takes way more clicks than it should? Overall I don’t really have major complaints, it does the job, but every now and then I’m clicking around thinking there has to be an easier way to get to what I need

"Helpful, but I do wonder what’s going on behind the scenes"
I use ClassDojo mostly to keep up with school updates and quick messages from the teacher, and it is convenient. I like getting photos, reminders, and little updates without having to dig through a pile of emails. That said, the notifications can get a bit excessive, almost like the app is trying to keep you checking it all the time. The point system also feels a little odd to me for kids, like it might be pushing behavior tracking more than necessary. I also sometimes wonder how much information is being shared or stored, because it is not always super clear. Overall, it is helpful and I still use it, but I do think there are a few things that could be more transparent and less pushy.

"Pretty handy, even if messages can be a pain"
This has been a solid way to keep up with what’s going on in my kid’s class. I like getting the photos and quick little notes during the day. That said, the messages sometimes seem to vanish or get missed, which is damn annoying. Still, overall it’s useful and I’m glad we have it.

"Not really worth the price"
It felt a bit too pricey for what you actually get. I was expecting a little more for the money, so yeah, kinda disappointing...

"Didn’t really help my class"
I was hoping this would make managing my class a bit easier, but... it kind of did the opposite. Things felt more confusing and messy than before, so it just didn’t work for me...

"Nice for class updates, but a little spotty"
I like ClassDojo overall. Mostly for the photos and little videos from my kid’s class. It’s nice getting a quick peek at what they did during the day. Like, okay, they made a craft. Or had story time. Little moments I wouldn’t see otherwise. Most of the time it loads fine. Not always, though. Sometimes the videos just sit there loading, or they don’t play right away. Photos can look kind of fuzzy too. Nothing terrible. It still does what I need it to do. Just wish it felt a bit smoother.

"I get that paid plans need extra…"
I get that paid plans need extra features, but the free version leaves out some useful stuff that most people would expect to have. It works fine for basic use, but after a while you hit those limits and it feels like the practical features are just out of reach.

"Heads up: it’s actually really easy to use"
Just a quick warning for anyone thinking about trying it — it’s surprisingly simple to use. I didn’t have to mess around or spend much time figuring it out, which was a relief.

"Helpful but freezes way too much"
I like ClassDojo when it actually works, it’s handy for keeping up with school stuff. But on my phone it freezes alot and messages take forever to load. Sometimes the app just shuts down on me too, which is annoying when I’m just trying to check updates real quick.

"Honestly, it just made my day more stressful"
I thought this was supposed to make things easier, but it ended up adding more to my plate. Now there are extra messages to keep up with, more tracking to do, and I don't really feel like it's helping with the actual teaching. It’s just another thing I have to manage, and I wasn’t expecting it to create this much stress.

"I was hoping there’d be more..."
I was hoping there’d be more actual teaching in this, but it’s mostly just stickers. My kid liked flipping through it for a bit, but there wasn’t much to really learn from. Kind of disappointing.

"The privacy side seems okay overall…"
The privacy side seems okay overall, but I still find myself checking the settings often just to be sure. I’ve had a few moments where I felt like my concerns weren’t really acknowledged, which makes it harder to fully relax and trust it

"Just Didn’t Catch On With My Class"
I was hoping this would be a hit with my students, but they barely use it and most of the time they seem bored with it. The timing was kind of awful too, because I introduced it right when we really needed something engaging, and it just didn’t land.

"ClassDojo has been solid for…"
ClassDojo has been solid for me overall, and it does what I need it to do most of the time. I did run into one issue and support was slower than I expected, it took a few days to hear back. They did eventually respond and helped me get it sorted out, so I can’t complain too much. Still, based on that one experience, it seems like their support might not be the fastest if you need help right away

"Helpful, but I still have questions"
I use classdojo to keep up with school stuff, and it’s handy for updates and messages. But I’m not totally sure what happens with my kid’s info and photos, which makes me a little uneasy. It seems fine overall, I just wish the privacy and safety settings were easier for parents to understand. Anyway.

"Useful when it’s actually updated"
Our school told us ClassDojo would be the main spot for updates, so I tried to get on board with it. The problem is that only some teachers seem to use it regularly. One week there’s helpful info, and the next week there’s nothing, so I’m still checking emails, digging through paper notes, and asking other parents what’s going on. I can see how the app could be useful, and I guess it’s fine when people actually use it, but with the way it’s being handled at our school, it just makes communication feel more scattered.

"Helpful for messages, but honestly clunky"
We used classdojo during remote learning, and for quick messages with the teacher it was fine. I’ll admit I’m probably a little biased because I was already stressed out with online school stuff, but the app got frustrating fast. Uploads failed on me often, and I ended up having to ask the teacher to resend things more than once. Support also felt slow whenever something broke. It wasn’t awful, just not as smooth as I hoped when everything was already hectic.

"Hard to keep up with teacher messages"
I haven’t had a great experience with it. Teacher messages seem to get buried, notifications come in late, and I still end up emailing or calling the school anyway. It just feels like one more place I have to check instead of making communication easier. I really wish they’d keep it simple

"Helpful, but the translations need work"
ClassDojo is okay overall, but the translation feature has been hit or miss for me. Sometimes messages come through sounding weird or unclear, and it leaves parents confused, especially families who don’t speak English as their first language. When that happens, it kind of feels like you’re just a ticket number waiting for someone to fix the issue instead of being a parent trying to stay connected. I really wish the translations were smoother and more reliable.
